For the ones who hold it all for everyone else
You've read the books. You've bought the nervous system course. You understand why you feel the way you do. And yet, come Monday morning, the knot is still in your throat.
Fried on the inside, functional on the outside. Scrolling instead of stretching. The bookshelf is bowing, and the frustration is growing.
If that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
I'm Beth, a counsellor and yoga teacher. I work with the people who are usually the ones holding everyone else: coaches, therapists, carers, body workers, neurodivergent creatives and self-employed folk. I also work with people in a new chapter, whether that's perimenopause, an empty nest, divorce or new motherhood, who are wondering who they are now.
My own life has held plenty of contradictions. They've taught me that being human is complex, and that the only way through is to work with all of it. That doesn't mean squeezing yourself into someone else's clothes. It means working with the raw materials of your own life to build something that fits, in your own skin and your outfit of choice.
I'm not a quiet, nodding therapist. I'm conversational, curious and collaborative, and you'll have someone to think with. Our thoughts, emotions and bodies are deeply connected, so I bring talk therapy and somatic practice together. That way we're not just talking about how you feel; we're working with it.
You don't need another book. Sometimes what you need is another human.
"...I would highly recommend working with Beth in anyway you can because she is a rare and absolute gem of a human, therapist and yoga teacher" - K McGill
